ANDY FERRIER - Shop Owner/Tattooer
Andy started tattooing at The Fall on Gottingen St. in Halifax with Paul Tynes in 1999. After bringing tattooing to Utility in 2003, he quickly established himself as one of Halifax’s favourite tattooers, winning many "best tattoo artist/best tattoo shop" awards in The Coast. Andy now spends his time running the studio, while taking on a lighter tattooing schedule that focuses on large-scale and one off traditional Japanese tattoos. JONNY MAY
Jonny started working at Utility as shop help in 2019 and began his apprenticeship with Andy in 2020. Since his start in tattooing, he has quickly learned and developed a strong skill set, and as well as tattooing, he still draws and paints daily.
